These talks are a good sign for our company because some time ago, in the 1990s, UNIBROS Steel Co. Ltd. was among those who successfully marketed the products of JSC Moldova Steel Works all over the world. And today, according to Mr. Delic, steel products manufactured by our company are highly appreciated in the different international markets. Besides, Managing Director of UNIBROS Steel Co. In particular Mr. Delic said: “After preliminary negotiations with the new management of the company we made our decision to resume the cooperation without any hesitations. The situation at the company is favorable and quite understandable for us.” Among the topics discussed during the above talks was the establishment of ancillary production facilities at the premises of JSC Moldova Steel Works, and in particular, the facilities for production of ferroalloys, namely, ferrosilicon manganese. This product is widely used in all steelmaking processes and meets high market demand. It is planned that within the next 10 days a number of meetings and negotiations will be carried on which are expected to result in the agreements to implement the said project into life. The foundation of these new production facilities will result in the increase in investments in the Pridnestrovian industry, lead to substantial increase in the number highly-skilled jobs, give rise to significant improvements in social and economic situation in our country and additionally demonstrate the attractiveness of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to foreign investors.
